HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM OTHER TRAINERS?

Happy Cycle utilises our in-house pedagogy called Challenge Based Development (CBD for short).

CBD makes use of a series of challenges that are designed to allow your child (or yourself) to learn in a safe, non-pressuring manner and yet innately brings about a sense of achievement throughout the learning process.

As such, learning becomes enjoyable, fun and most importantly, develops other aspects of the child’s (or your) character as part of a holistic learning.

Due to the founder’s background in education and strong emphasis on character development, Happy Cycle focuses on learning, more than teaching. The focus is on the development of the child or the individual, instead of rushing towards the end goal.

WHAT IS YOUR

CANCELLATION POLICY?

There are no cancellation charges

when done 48 hours before lesson commences.

Cancellation after 48 hours before lessons commences will incur the full class fees unless

under extenuating circumstances.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN BICYCLE?

It would be good for you to bring your own bike as it allows you to be familiar with its geometry, sizing and weight.

However, if you do not own one (or one that fits you),

Happy Cycle is able to provide you with a bike during lesson.

CAN I STILL LEARN IF MY BALANCE IS POOR?

Of course! Regardless of your balance or ability, Happy Cycle is confident that you will be able to cycle through our own method that has been proven to be fail safe and safe!

I CAN ALREADY CYCLE BUT I AM NOT CONFIDENT ENOUGH TO CYCLE ON PCN. ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP?

Yes again! Simply being able to pedal on 2 wheels is not sufficient for you to ride on our PCN (and definitely not our roads) especially when it is crowded with other users.

You will need other skills such as being able to maneuver around obstacles, being aware of your surroundings, being able to maintain your balance at slow speeds, or even cycling through narrow paths.

Here at Happy Cycle, we do our best to prepare you to face any crowded cycling or shared paths so that you maintain safety and keep on riding!
